Life, the Universe and Everything

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 17, 2009, 6:18 PM

My trip to the UK was spectacular! I got some lovely photo-ops and some new ideas for my Laby graphic novel. Unfortunately the only barn owl sighting came in the form of one in a pub/B&B -stuffed and under glass:

Not the best shot, but not bad for the case being hung behind a bright light fixture. Once I sort through the rest of my pics -there are hundreds of them; one of the downsides of digital cameras with massive storage capacity- I'll post some good ones here.

Also in the works: finishing set-up of my shop on Etsy.com (a site for selling handmade crafts) in time for the holiday season. I just need to work out some S&H stuff, then I can open for business! There will be ornaments with dinosaurs and dragons painted on them and some Fimo pins/magnets of all sorts of critters. No idea if anything will sell, but it's worth a shot since I really need some steady income.

Despite my new undertaking, I'm still on-track as of now with Changement. Page 12 is getting coloured this evening.

And yes, I am enjoying the Journal skin usage for us free dA folks while it lasts. It's pretty cool.

I love David Bowie and his music. My friend is the coolest thing that has ever happend to me. I wish I had my drivers licence right now. I was born to be wild and I live in the wild.

Sorry for the late reply -I've been out of town. Yes, I read the whole manga in one sitting the day I got it. The plot was... interesting. I will give the writers some credit though. The plot involving Sarah's 'double' was an interesting twist, but their description of Jareth's relationship with the Labyrinth was blatantly filched from Howl.

You may know the oracles are frauds, the augurs quacks, but you listen, because no one else can tell you what you want to hear.

It's a good watch (or a good read if you care to check out the book) and I recommend them both

your pics are good. how long does it take to finish a sing page
:iconlhunweth:
Thanks :) It really varies on how long a page takes to create; more images means more drawing and colouring time. I'd take a guess and say I spend anywhere from a couple of hours one day to a couple of hours every day for a week.
